IMAGE in MOTION asked me to create fancy scientific renderings for MIMENIMA. They are an institute at the University of Bremen researching in the field of ceramics (Micro-, meso- and macroporous nonmetallic Materials: Fundamentals and Applications). They wanted to have a nice look instead of proper physical renderings. To finish the whole project some 2D overlay animations had to be added.
Starting from scribbles provided by the client it was a back and forth with drafts and test renderings. The extensive use of X-Particles made this project an ease. This flexible tool allowed me to create fluid and particle simulations.
